Meet Your Voice Teacher, Sophia

Sophia is a New York–based singer and teacher with a strong background in vocal performance and theatre. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance with a Drama minor from Carnegie Mellon University and has performed in a variety of concerts, services, and special events across the United States.

In her lessons, Sophia focuses on making singing feel fun and approachable while still teaching real technique. Students work on pitch, breathing, storytelling, and expression using songs that fit their age, interests, and personality.

Center Stage Voice & Acting Studio offers:

  • Flexible after-school and weekend lesson times

Arkansas EFA & Voice Lesson FAQs

Learn about our Studio Policies + what to expect in your lessons.

Yes. Center Stage Voice & Acting Studio participates as a direct-pay provider through Arkansas EFA’s ClassWallet portal. Voice lessons are billed as an approved educational service. If you have questions about your specific scholarship type, we’re happy to help you look at options.

All lessons are taught live online via FaceTime or Zoom. Your singer joins from home using a computer or tablet with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet connection.

Sophia teaches students ages 6 and up, from beginners to advanced singers. She works with homeschool, private school, and public school students, including those using voice lessons as an elective or enrichment activity.

Absolutely. Many of Sophia’s students start out quiet or nervous. Lessons move at a gentle pace, with lots of encouragement and breaks as needed. The goal is to build trust first, then technique.

Yes. Many students use their lessons to prepare for school musicals, talent shows, auditions, and special events. We can help choose appropriate songs, cut audition pieces, and practice performing with confidence.

As a direct-pay provider, lesson tuition is paid directly from your Arkansas EFA scholarship funds to our studio through the ClassWallet portal, rather than you paying out of pocket and requesting reimbursement. You’ll still need to follow our studio’s registration process and Arkansas EFA’s guidelines, but we’ll walk you through each step.

Families first complete a Student Profile with Center Stage Studio so Sophia can add the student to her roster and reserve a time.

Then, inside the Arkansas EFA ClassWallet portal:

  • Go to → Find Providers

  • Search “Center Stage Voice + Acting Studio”

  • Choose the lesson length and quantity and complete the purchase

After purchasing, families should email Sophia@CenterStageVocal.com to confirm everything is set.

For questions about eligibility, applications, or funding, families should contact Arkansas EFA directly. Center Stage Studio can help explain how lessons work, but AR EFA makes all final decisions about scholarship eligibility and payments.

A Note from Sophia

“I know it can feel vulnerable to sing in front of someone new—especially online. My job is to make lessons feel like a kind, encouraging space where your child can explore their voice, try new things, and discover what they’re capable of.

Whether your singer is just getting started or already loves performing, I’d be honored to help them take their next step with confidence.”
